“The Perfect Love”- 1960s Inspired Digital Ad
The Perfect Love is a digital art piece inspired by Ads of the late 50s early 1960s. This piece is a response to the large interest for the vintage nostalgia many of us crave in contemporary art today.

I wanted to explore a collage approach that highlighted cultural objects & fashion trends from old vintage ads. I used the clone tool to duplicate figures & the eraser tool to remove unwanted elements from various frames. The eraser was also key in creating overlap between subjects, adding depth & visual hierarchy to the piece.
We can especially see this with the two figures sitting on top of a camera, as each of these were pulled from different scans. I also layered an old piece of magazine paper over the entire piece that added a sense of gritty texture.
I wanted the imagery to captivate viewers, encouraging them to stop and look deeper, revealing more details the closer they get.
